About Us

We have changed our name to reflect our new products. As 2006 was drawing to a close, we decided to add the handcrafted pens and other wonderful products my husband makes. He uses exotic hardwoods and other fun materials like deer antler to create unique gifts for you or someone else special to you. We are still expanding that part of our product line, so check back often for the latest additions.

Our original company name was Canyon Lake Soap Company. This all started from my long time interest in proper skincare. When we lived in Baton Rouge, I took a continuing education class at LSU to learn how to make handcrafted soap. I liked the result. Friends and family received soap for Christmas presents that year!!

Requests came in for more soap when the Christmas presents were used up. So, I decided to test the market, did market research and product development with family and friends of different ages and personalities. The results were very encouraging. Additional research included lots of web-based study, reading books on skincare and soap making, attending craft shows and listening to our customers' requests.

Now we have a comprehensive line of bath and body products, with emphasis on high quality ingredients, careful monitoring of the formulas and exacting measurements of all ingredients.

The results: hundreds of satisfied customers.

So . . what's with the picture? I make all my products in small batches and in this photo, I'm filling lip balm tubes. These are some of our really popular products. Every one should have several, to be able to always have one close at hand.
